Gabrielle Coppola

I create illustrative visual art using drawing, painting, tattoo, and photography. I am interested in spirituality, femininity, nature, the mind, and the misunderstood.

My style is to use a lot of blacks accented by intense colours. I create a combination of dynamic and stagnant atmospheres, at times referencing the surreal or supernatural. I put a lot of thought into symbolic motifs and archetypes.

I live in Queenstown and make art full time. I tattoo at Amorem Studio in Sunshine Bay.
