Ira Mitchell

Ira is a Queenstown born artist, raised in Glenorchy; an area which inspires much of her work.

Her colour palette is informed by Rita Angus and the cubist stylings of Picasso. Working full time as a nomadic creative and artist educator representing GOLDEN art supplies of NY. She regularly attends international art residencies, most recently in Champagne, France. After this she showed at Carrousel du Louvre, Paris.

She believes in giving back and has been recognised with NZer of the year, local hero and Covic Awards. Donating her time and art to schools, charities, and talks; looking to inspire other creatives to dream big.
